Rail transport of goods

We ensure for our clients the transport of good in complete train sets, by obeying the allowed parameters on the circulation sections on which these transports are to be realized.

Our company has signed agreements for access on the public railway infrastructure with both the National Railway Company and the owners of private infrastructure in Romania.

Shunting in railway complexes

• Shunting the wagons for coupling/uncoupling of the train units;
• Shunting the wagons for input/ output at/from the loading/unloading platforms;
• The wagons transfer (in shunting convoy) between the CFU stations (factory’s railway) and the CFR stations in which these are attended as well as the shunting on berth railways of the maritime stations.
• Special shunting in CFR stations and the current line for heavy equipments for cargo holds, work trains, unloading crushed stone and other materials.

Renting the rolling stock

Servtrans Invest puts at client's disposal his entire stock for operating different types of specific activities in the railway area. In its activity the company uses different types of rolling stock, such as:

• Electric locomotives of 5100KW and 3400 KW
• Diesel electric locomotives with a power of 2100 HP
• Hydraulic diesel locomotives with a power of 1250 HP

In order to respond to the demands of its clients, Servtrans Invest uses different types of wagons: wagons specialized in the transport of the chemical liquid products, fuel etc, cereals, coal, chemical fertilizers, aggregates etc, covered and uncovered wagons for general use, platforms. These wagons are able to circulate both in intern and international traffic. For a better development of its activity, Servtrans exploits a park of rolling stock consisting in more than 100 locomotives, 60 of them are owned by Servtrans and more than 2500 wagons, of which 1800 are Servtrans property.

Operating the railway infrastructure

• We provide access on the Voslobeni-Chileni public railway infrastructure in order to perform freight activities and also shunting operations;
• We provide access on the Rosiori-Costesti public railway infrastructure to perform the transport of goods and passengers and also shunting operations.
